Nearing Completion!

The portion of my trail is completely built with only some roots that stick out of the ground. The final things that need to be done are cutting those roots, to remove obstacles that could be dangerous to a bicyclist. Lastly we need to wait for a rain to afterwards rake the trail one last time. Once these two are complete I will be done. If it does not rain prior to my presentation, I will have to do it afterwards.

Rain, please go away.

The last few days of my project and it rains a lot. Just my luck. However I have a couple new recruits to come out and help me finish this section because they want to ride the trail! So I will get out to Duncan park as soon as possible with these guys, I'm hoping for 4, and then we could knock this thing out it 1-2 days! Lets hope for a successful next week (with no rain!)

Good morning.

It's 7:30 and I almost forgot to do my blog again. This past week I got out to work but due to an overturned machine much of the day was standing around. I was recently reminded when the deadline is, so i need to wake up and get into to gear to get this project done.

From 25 degrees to 65 degrees.

Well, I'm back from Colorado which was a great snowboarding trip but it's back to reality. I've been swamped with make up work while trying to keep up with everyone and my job. I have a big work day for my project this Saturday. The whole project has officially made it into the paper twice!! I can't wait till it's done!

Sick week

Well, I got nothing done this week because I have had what looked like an "ear infection" yet no one was sure if it was or wasn't. Since I will be traveling via plane I am doing everything to get better or I won't be having the most pleasant flight. I will be gone next week so I will not work then either. Once I get back I'll go into overdrive and get a good amount of work done. I even almost forgot about the blog this morning, however it's still before school so I'm good. :D

Newspaper? Yes please.

Well I happened to make the Saturday work event and because of that I happened to land in the paper. We are making good progress and it is turning out very nice. I am excited about this project. The entire project should be roughly finished in May, however my part will be done earlier!

Well, with a title like that you are probably expecting an amazing post with tons of great new information!! Sorry reader, that's not the case. I talked with my mentor today and we are beginning work again this Saturday, however as it looks now I will not be able to attend this one because of prior arrangements. But work is right around the corner!
